Rosetta - Responsive Solar Pavillion

Model-4S.jpg

Unlike conventional opaque solar panels. Project "Rosetta" uses transparent solar panels made of a polymer with silver nanowires. A hurdle in the adoption of this technology is the transparency, which often casts unwanted shadows and patterns. We harnessed this aspect to create a pavilion that rotates in response to sunlight and studied the shadows under a heliodon.
