Food. Air. Bacteria - Imagining the future food dining experience
This speculative proposal was designed to reinvent the Melbourne dining experience by capitalizing on the existing technology of producing protein-rich flour through air, water, electricity, and soil-derived bacteria. We also propose to use the protein source for a new experience by 3D printing food at our restaurant ‘Feather’.
Project Supervisor: Dr. Oliver Cotsaftis
Designers: Tania Wahono, Shimroth Thomas, Harish Kumar, and Kuldeep Jangid
This design proposal in partnership with ARUP evolved from the Biocities studio 2019 at RMIIT University(MDIT). My main contributions were in architectural design, photography, videography, 3D visualization, walkthrough video, prototyping (3D printing & laser cutting), and material research.
